Los Artistas del Barrio Buffalo is thrilled to announce our OPEN MIC en el BARRIO monthly poetry series starting in January 2026!

Coming off the very successful Barrio Poetry Slam! collaboration with Shea’s 710 Theatre, we have decided to keep the creativity going en la comunidad by offering a space for Latino/a/x/e poets and supporters. Spanish/español, English/ingles, Bilingual/bilingüe, Spanglish poets and performers - we accept all!

Poetry/Poesia every 3rd Thursday of every month.

Donde? El Museo: 91 Allen Street, Buffalo, NY. Start time is at 7 pm,

Sign up starts at 6:45 pm.

Musical guests/DJs every night because that’s how we do it.

LADB can’t wait to host our first night at El Museo on January 15 with Los Artistas’ very own resident poet Julio Montalvo Valentin and La Doctora herself, Michele Agosto.
