Beyond Borders 2022,In Partnership with Los Artistas del Barrio Buffalo &

Perceptions, featuring artists with a visual impairment 

The Niagara Arts & Cultural Center is pleased to announce our exhibitions for August-September 2022, with Beyond Borders 2022 and Perceptions. Beyond Borders is taking place in partnership with Los Artistas del Barrio Buffalo and will be guest-curated by Michele Agosto and Aileen Gonzalez Marti. Perceptions will feature work from artists with a visual impairment and will be guest-curated by Geraldine Wilson, a visually impaired artist. 

Join us for each opening reception for these exhibitions: Beyond Borders will have a reception on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 PM outside of the Townsend Gallery. 

Beyond Borders will be on view in the Townsend Gallery (1st Floor) beginning August 19. Both exhibitions are on view until September 24, 2022. Galleries are free and open to the public with a suggested donation of $5 per adult for admission. 

Both exhibitions also feature free admission to the ”Freedom Crossing” Underground Railroad exhibit in the Heritage Gallery, sponsored by the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area. 



About Los Artistas del Barrio Buffalo 

Los Artistas Del Barrio Buffalo exhibits, promotes, and supports Latino/a/x and Hispanic artists of all genres located in and connected to Buffalo and Western New York. Los Artistas Del Barrio Buffalo’s mission is to function as an arts collective that highlights the talents and creativity of Latino/a/x and Hispanic artists of every discipline in our community.

About the Niagara Arts & Cultural Center

As the largest multi-arts center in upstate New York, the Niagara Arts & Cultural Center (NACC) hosts a diverse group of 98 artists and makers, two public art galleries, three theaters, four local history exhibits, a radio station, a certified sound stage & movie production facility, the Niagara Falls High School alumni center, as well as the Starry Night Café & Gift Shop. 

The NACC is located at 1201 Pine Avenue in the City of Niagara Falls, New York

Gallery Hours for the Townsend Gallery, Kudela Garden Gallery, and permanent exhibits within the building are from 12:00pm-5:00pm daily, excluding holidays. Guided Tours are available by calling 716-282-7530 and must be booked no less than two weeks in advance.
